It's you who asked the question so I guess you're also on that level ;)

Question: Who was the great leader of the Gauls who revolted against the Romans in the first century bc.?

Since no one even bothered to try... Li Shimin was the actual name of the emperor Tang Taizong, perhaps the greatest of all Chinese emperors. He was chiefly remembered for his effective scholar-official based administration. He was also militarily very successful.

I'll open the next question to the floor - first one posts gets to ask. :)

Damn XIII I could actually answer that last question!

So I'll ask the next one:D

Question: What is the name of the man who discovered Van Diemens Land, and what is the modern name for this land?

edit:I see Reno asked same time as me. BTW Reno isn't the asnwer just 1917, when Finland became independent?

1323 :D was it?

It's important to read other threads isn't it? ;)
What state did Timurid Empire "transform" into?

Hmm... well... the Timurid ruler of the Ferghana Valley went to Kabul and founded the Mughal Empire. It wasn't Uzbekistan as the Uzbeks conquered the Timurids (the Uzbeks lived in Siberia previously)

I don't know about the Siberia bit, but yolu are right :). Over to you....

Okay (Well, not Siberia, but from the khanate called 'Sibir' and that is where the name 'Siberia' comes from)...

Adab, Akkad, Akshak, Bad-Tabira, Isin, Kish, Lagash, Larak, Larsa, Sippar, Umma, Ur, Uruk. Which of the aforementioned was not one of the "twelve Sumerian city-states"?

One in 13 shot at getting it right...

Unofficial question gets an unoficial answer. Abel Tasman and Tasmania.
