Let's be honest:

The Livestream last week tipped over two poo-storms with governors "breaking immersion" (because reasons) and loyalty not being really explained well, so all of us went into full math-nerd mode and modeled ways loyalty might work from the screenshots and it did not end well for our knowledge of game balance.

Hopefully Sarah will go into detail about loyalty, free cities, and loyalty flipping.

I also missed the "hoopla" about loyalty, and the only thing we're really missing at this stage is whether it's treated like a yield in the database or not.

Exactly. I'm really hoping it's not a straight math function (like some believe) because if it is, "conquer literally everything" is the EVEN_MOAR_SMARTEST solution in RF. However, if it's a mean-adjustment (which is what I'm hoping, where cities all drag themselves down to their "local average" with buildings and governors and such allowed boosts to raise it), then over expansion will cause conquest-empires to implode.

That's a stretch. If the Cree were out they'd have pulled the First Look that actually, y'know, featured them...

and had an extra First Look to introduce the Civilization they were replacing it with.

Well it WILL be a big deal if my theory is true, that they have withheld World Congress from us until now...!!!
They looked at the victory screens last week and there was no Congress there, seriously doubt this will happen this time.

Great, now there's a good chance that a leak will happen before Monday and spoil the Civ...I was really looking forward to guessing for 10-15 minutes since thats the amount of time it usually takes this forum to figure a teaser out.

It's Inca. Ya happy?

I really want the Inca but my hope is for a West African Civ, it would be fun to see how Firaxis teased and portrayed Mali or the Ashanti.

To be honest, I'd welcome a leak at this point. I dislike how they pulled the rug out from under us this week and I still want my civ reveal, officially or not.

Then everything's back to normal, speculating like hell and jumping to crazy conclusions :p

Well it looks like I'll be viewing the video from home tomorrow now since my work is cancelled. Thank you ice storm.

While expect it will recap the list of features on the store sites with video examples, I hope they announce the Hall of Fame as an additional feature.

They'd better have some unannounced feature hidden up their sleeve. But I know, we're not the target market for this (these?) video. But do be a good Firaxis and sneak some unapproved hints in there to entertain those of us paying attention. :p

I don't really mind a features video, providing there is some exciting new information there. There's a fairly high risk we already know most of it already, of course, but the tweet did promise "full details".

Excited about the video. C'mon new stuff!
