[R&F] New Features Video

Well, they've had no issue showing Poundmaker :)

I suspect Firaxis and CivFanatics have different definitions of the words "FULL DETAILS".

Please, someone point them at a dictionary because those weren't details the video showed and needless to say filled with them. Ok, so we were right. It definitely was not intended for us. Just trying to get to the lowest common denominator and bring them along and up to date.

Looks like we get a glimpse of all the alliance options/benefits at the end of the alliance section. Can someone post a screenshot? (I'm on my phone, can't get good resolution.)

Also, new narrator noted. Makes me think BBC. Not sure if I prefer it to Sarah's.

At least we know Poundmaker is still greenlit. Also, INCAS!! Their colors are two shades of blue btw.

You can see the new leader's colours on the minimap and in the top left of that shot. It's a bold blue colour. Inca were previously yellow. Did they change it, or is it another civ?

This is old footage - Queen Seondeok looks like her SE Asian version...

Edit: Some of the in game footage I mean.

I guess Sean Bean was unavailable for this video.

more info on emergencies, but not much. They seem to be more of a group quest mechanic rather than an anti run away mechanic. Getting 1 relic would hardly change the course of the game if there was a run away civ.
That was the award they all received for stopping a religious emergency.

I do like that we got a screenshot of some of the new alliances. The bonuses seem quite nice. We also got a screenshot of a religious emergency which gives us a clear idea of how they work and what some of their bonuses might be. What do people think of a free relic for each member? Getting a free relic just for converting one city is not bad I guess, but still seems a bit weak, especially since the penalty for failing the emergency seems a lot greater. But we also need to keep in mind that every member gets the reward if only one member succeeds so you might get the free relic for doing nothing.

I'm going to go back later and take a closer look at those late game age dedications.

Take a shot every time the narrator says “age”.

Also it’s odd that they take the time to mention the new civilisations and wonders but don’t give any details about the new districts.

colour scheme Inca's?
bias? I have to recheck the map to know which band in the world they are in. There are some mountains nearby.

Guess what guys, they did do a leader reveal after all, and you thought Firaxis didn't care about us

I think that's definitely a new South American leader (which is great!). A headband is not enough to identify whether it's the Inca or someone else, like the Mapuche, though.
