New guy with AC issues

So, I'm a long time Civ player and I decided to replace my lost copy of AC with the new XP compatable issue. After loading AC and the XP patch, I get an error message "CPU not supported". I'm running a Pentium 4 2.8 gz with Window XP service pack 3, what more does this require?

To fix your problem, modify your Alpha Centauri.ini file to make it look like this:

[PREFERENCES]
ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1

That should do it. Please post again if that suggestion doesn't work for some reason, or if you have any other questions.
