I would like to see some new map overlays for the world preview 'window' in the lower-left corner. Currently, you can toggle between showing the terrain and the various civilizations territories.
I would love to see some other options particularly a diplomatic overlay, whereby each portion of the map would be colored based on their relationship with you. For instance, if you are at war with a nation, thier territory would show as red; if you were at peace, it might be green. This should show all 'relationships' that your opponents could have with you, including peace, war, cease-fire, alliance, MPP, ROP, and Locked alliances (and any others that I may have missed).
Other overlays might be usefull as well, such as a trade overlay, showing any civilizations that you are trading with, that you can trade with, and that you cannot trade with. Another possibility might be an attitude overlay (polite, furious, etc.) and cultural overlay (in awe of, impressed with, dismissive of, etc.).
Some of these overlays would be even more useful when there are more than eight civs in the game as they can't all fit on the diplomacy advisors screen at once.
