New Official Arriving / leaving / introduction thread.

Not an "official" leaving per se, really, just an acknowledgment of my dwindling activity here. As has been said, people who announce their leaving often come back, while those who really leave just slowly disappear. I suppose I'm just making it known that I identify with the latter group. That being said, I have no particualr intention of not visiting this place. My lifestyle is not changing, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not abstaining and I'm not banned. For a variety of reasons, I just don't come 'round as much as I used to. :\

Introductions are always bad, so I will just dive in.

My name is Almog, 14 years old from Tel-Aviv, Israel. Blasphemous brought me here some months ago and I became a hardcore Bridge enthusiast for several weeks until I found my next addiction – Minesweeper.

Today I got my copy of CIV4 and so I decided to finally register to this great community and I hope to get along, and stuff.

um, mainly my interests are quite geekish; to list a few – Rubic's cube, programming (especially design patterns and XML), sociology, languages, literature and the other arts of storytelling, RP etc. I am also a great fan of metal music (Nevermore, Iced Earth – more at my audioscrobbler).

Well, I am going now to pay a visit to the other forums here and afterwards to continue my campaign (my first one: settler level, German's Friedrich; just whacked Spain's ass and going now to that musa guy).

Hell, this game is going to suck the life out of me. :]

[oh, and my civ3 experience is about.. 3-4 years now]

RAgh, after the spam bomb that was forum games yesturday (at its height i even started a game: Spam the spam above you!

I really must be off... i have 6000 words to write by wednesday for my course!
 
I am travelling to Hawaii tomorrow. (Work related, but, who cares :D ) I will spend one week over there. (A couple of days are gonna be vacation days though)

Then, the 21st I will be comming back to the US, and the 22nd I am taking another flight to Miami and then Madrid to spend christmas at my parent's.

it is gonna be the mother of all jet lags to me.
 
Hawaii sounds cool but you're gonna be one jetlagged son of a gun come Christmas. Especially if you're on night flights.
