new patch: Will it fix...?

When a city shoots arrows at an enemy it doesn't have animations of that enemy being killed like before the patch anyone knows why?

He posted yesterday evening. So, we'll see if they drag their feet or not. The damn patch has been in the oven long enough.

You don't have the newest patch yet, but did you turn on Quick Combat in your last game?

Didn't even think about it it when I saw that "release", just dismissed it.

I'm hoping the patch will actually ALLOW me to play the game, I could not even try to get the Beta patch to work, I always kept crashing before even seeing the Main Menu

I for one am confident that the patch will substantially improve diplomacy, finish adapting the AI to 1UPT, and and reduce turn times on larger maps by 50%.

i downloaded the beta, it's weird cause only when cities throw arrows it doesn't show the unit being killed but when an archer throws it it does, yes quick combat is un checked
