I remember when we could pick our own passwords when registering. Then, you picked them and mailed them to us. Now, we get to choose again. Thanks!

Well, I first came to this site almost 3 years ago as cichlid221. Then, I got to pick my password. About 6 months later, my account was closed, so I registered again. That time, my password was e-mailed to me. Now, I'm registering for a third time, and I get to pick it again. Yay!

Because I forgot my password. The second time, my brother wanted to register, too, so I had to do it twice.

TL!!!

Triple Login!!! I don't believe that memberships are ever canceled, it means you must have three memberships by now.

nickmandler, you are NOT supposed to create a new account when you forgot your password. What you need to do is email me about it and I will set a new password for you.

I have a question relating to this: The rules say that one person can't have more than one account, and that two or more people can't use the same account. So what if someone wants to register at CFC, but someone else in the family already registered with the only available computer? This probably won't ever apply to me (my brother doesn't like Civ), but I'd still like to know.

TF, delete "cichlid221" and ask nickmandler what his other account was, and delete that too. Or ask him which account he wants ot keep and delete the other two...

Problem solved then.

And now he knows the procedure if you forget the password...

Why can't two people use the same account? I don't see anyway that it effects anything...

If one of the two people deserves a ban, how do we ban one but not the other? Then we might get people saying it wasn't them using the account, but the other person... no it was the other person... no it was the other person.....

It may also confuse posters to see two different posting styles (and ways of thinking) from the same user.

Ban them anyway then.... They shouldn't be sharing an account with someone that will get it banned in the first place.

Also.... My posting styles differ with my mood.... So I don't think it will confuse people any more.
