I liked the scenarios in Civ3 Conquests but there are so many more that can be done, professionally i mean. Like they should have a WW2 europe, or being young america in the 1800's and trying to expand to the pacific by conquoring the indians and mexico. Also there could be a revolutionary war scenario. ive seen one but it was really strange. There could be so much that could be done with Civ4

I haven't played any of the scenarios in conquest, so I'd rather see them depthening(?) the core game instead.

I hope they have scenarios, and why shouldnt they? Theyve been there since Civ2 and are very popular.

Id love to see a WWII Europe scenario, but why not think big and make a WWII world scenario? I always hated it when I played the Axis in Civ2 and couldnt "finish" the allies of since they simply werent on the map :p .

Probably tons of difficult balance issues, but its not totally impossible.

I would really approciate scenarios in Civ4, but I think that they will be put into an expension pack such as Civ3. There are loads of campaign ideas haven't used yet...

Yes but still scenarios are fun. Wouldnt you want to defend europe from hitlers insanity? or going and conquoring america, establishing citys such as san fransico and seattle in historical sites. Civ is fun and scenarios make it even funner

One I'd like to see is the Spring and Autumn period of China, the era after the fall of the Zhou Dynasty, with its wars between a thousand warring states, the advancement of Chinese philosophy with the creation of the three main streams of Chinese philosophical thought (Taoism, Confucianism, and Legalism), and all sorts of other things.

Sure, but all things come at a cost. Scenarios are better suited for expansions imo.

Yes, scenarios are great, but there are some points against them in the main game:

1) they take away development time for the really important core game
2) they can easily be shipped after in a Addon! Changes in the core game are more difficult to do.
3) Users can create scenarios as well and these are of the same or even better quality!

They should also have the civil war

Umm...personally, the best scenarios I've played have come from this very website. Although Rocotech's WW2 Global Civlopedia isn't complete, the rest of the scenario is almost perfect...just a few balancing problems. And Sarevok and Rocotech's The Great War is probably the most detailed scenario I have ever encountered. And there are two different Civil War Scenarios, each of high quality to play. I admit I'd like scenarios to come with the game, but as mitsho said they can take away from the core game engine (I'd rather this be of the highest quality) and scenario creators often make better scenarios anyways...
