New terrain features

They are in as far as I know. I put them there.:)

:goodjob::goodjob::goodjob: I wasnt sure if they were in the game. since I havent been to Modern Era since December. I wonder what improvements will happen for Lunar and Mars terrain.

Any suggestions as to what techs should change the yields? Or routes?

How about doubling their base yields, as they come around pretty late, for a start. Tech increases could come at Nanotechnology, Micromechanics, and wireless electricity.

That sounds about right to me. We're (realworld) currently developing new technologies that will make solar panels a lot more powerful as well. I suppose Micromechanics or Nanotech may account for that, or perhaps a whole new tech: Full Spectrum Capture or something to that extent. This would nearly double the power they get so I suppose that means :hammers:.

I believe eventually we'll make power not so much an on/off affair and we'll have to supply enough power for the city's needs and at that point in time the solar panels will become more valuable as it would be able to help support the city's needs.

I have increased the basic yield to 3:hammers: and 3 :gold: with each of the techs you mentioned increasing the yield by another 2 :gold:.

Perhaps Fuel Cells or Rapid Prototyping could add something to them too.

Fuel Cells +1 :Gold:? Not sure about rapid prototyping.

Well I would assume that rapid prototyping could make better versions faster and cheaper since you would not have to wait on a longer development cycle. Perhaps +1 :gold: to represent them being cheaper to build?

Even with rapid prototyping and other advances we have already implemented it seems that the time from conception of an idea to consumer acceptance and use is about 20 years. basically you have to wait for 5 year olds to get enough money to buy one when they become adults.:mischief:

Wireless Electricity should gibe +2:hammers: instead of +2:gold:, as it is more dealing with the ability to move the energy from the panels to the production centers.

@Dancing Hoskuld

So I was thinking about Coconut resource. Since the new one look like this and the old one look like this we could use the old graphics to make a new resource. I am thinking perhaps we could have Oil Palm as a resource.

It could work similar to the Date Palm except it would be enabled at Oil Lamps tech. What do you think? It would be a scrub/desert/dune resource so it should have enough space to spawn with the other arid resources.

EDIT: Here is an icon/button for it.

Hmm Future farm maybe should go to Marine Colonization then based on those pictures. I thought it was like a Kelp Farm. Overall I don't like the Sea Garden's Graphics.

Also is it possible to "Plant" kelp or coral?

I was also thinking of making a new Kelp graphic and then use the existing one for "Sea Grass".

Not yet

With the seas and oceans we need more terrains. There is a problem with deep sea vent, at the present it is showing up on the surface rather than under the sea.
