I also agree with Winter, the bike is for transportation. When in combat the soldier ditches the bike and fights as infantry.

well, that would be kind of awkward with the fortify animation, and with the victory animation :/. plus, when I thought of this unit, I just made it like this cuz thats how it was in my head

But seriously, I would think the most useful bicycle forces would be 1) Asian, as both hit-and-run and as suicide bombers; 2) French resistance, in both world wars, or generic resistance; 3) 19th century, for flavor; or 4) kids of any era: a "paperboy" who throws bombs, for instance.

As careful readers of the steampunk project threads will notice, that's a screenshot of a unit & a resource in the same tile. for those who only travel into the future at 1 sps: why would I request ruby_sauce to make a unit that already existed?

I have a handbook on Viet Cong mines and boobytraps that has some interesting pictures and descriptions of bicycle bombs.
