Well I knew it was slightly larger than the default civ3 graphics... Tough cookies, don't like it don't use it. As to the speed I noticed a problem with the death in Flicster but it seemed to play fine in my game so I'd suggest speeding it up in Flicster if you find it too slow. About the Spear (lance whatever you want to call it) it's to scale for the unit and I didn't have any problems seeing it (despite wearing my eyes out staring at the screen for hours)... Anyway all this is leading up to this: There are no plans to fix this at this time :) Don't know about doing another mounted knight unit... May look into it a little.

Kinboat, the animations are slow in-game as well. How does one change the flc in order to speed it up? Take out some frames?

- load the anim you wish to change into flicster, select "View Anim"
- change the "Frame Delay" to any position (=playing speed) you want
- then select "Export", and save it as storyboard (you can´t save back as new unit flc directly)
- load this new storyboard into Flicster again, now you can save it as unit anim (flc) ;)

- make sure you exported it before with the changed frame delay (you can choose this from the export menu), or change the frame rate again before saving it as flc.

;)

Thanks, BeBro, for the excellent information. Animation speed was my only beef for an otherwise excellent unit!

Here is a resized version of the crusader (with the too thin lance ;)). It was requested form W.I.N.T.E.R. Note, the file includes only the FLCs. Just copy it over the old files. You have to download the original file too, if you need the icons and INI.

Special thanks to Kinboat for creating this unit!
