New Unit: Cuchulainn July 28, 2004

Part of the Fluididity (I love making up new words :D ) is because I used twice the usual number of frames for some of those animations. The fortify, victory, and fidget all have 30 frames each, my usual standard has been 15 for quite some time. And a lot of the original units only have 10 frames.

I don't play Civ3, but my eye was caught by the title of this thread. I'm really impressed - you people are very good at designing units! Well done, Kinboat! :goodjob:

Xen: Yeah the M.L. is there on the list... Plus the Bond versions, these version (a little later), The lottery winner (half of the model is done). And I'm sure I'm forgetting something :D

Thank You Kinboat

I can die happy now...

... but not today.... or tomorrow... or the day after that...

*and so nameless continued on like an energizer bunny... explaining how he does not with to die today or the day after that and after that and after that... bravely confronting death in front of his computer... before finally falling asleep... and then dreaming about how he was explaining how he does not with to die today or the day after that and after that and after that... bravely confronting death in front of his computer...*

Heh.. Irish Gaelic is the strangest language when it comes to the spelling matching the sound (phonetics?). Too my understanding of Irish Gaelic, Cuchulainn is pronounced (kuh-koo-len).

eXCELLENT UNIT. Now do I use him as a heavy swordsman or a hero? Choices choices :goodjob:

all of Kals requests. :p :D

what was the lottery winner anyway?

Xen, 'twas a Zulu cavalry, I believe.

Kinboat, again, gorgeous unit. I've tried several times since the release and
still can only get a partial dl. Odd, being that I'm the only one with this problem, yet not the only one using winrar... I'll suck it up and be patient for
your alternate versions. Well worth the wait. :mischief: :goodjob:

God Money: I did get a PM from someone else who had a problem... They then used a download manager (getright I think) and tried it again and it seemed to work. Don't know why that should work but it might be something you could try.

Yep the lottery winner was a Zulu Cavalry replacement.

Simply stunning. So smooth and well done and I especially like the victory flc. Thanks for the hard work kinboat!

Other way around (Koo-Kul-en). And yes Gaelic is anything but phonetic. Thanks for giving this unit an Irish name Kinboat. As a matter of interest, how many man-hours went into making this beauty?
