It's curious that the webpage, which is very easy to change, is deliberately vague about bonus numbers, while the videos, which are very difficult to change, provide specific numbers.

It's probably worth recalling the amount of effort needed, too. I don't imagine it's difficult to find a French-speaking Corsican voice actor, for example, given it is the official and most spoken language on the island.

my opinion is that if it would be so hard to find the appropriate voice actor for himiko, they shouldn’t have picked her. if she was picked bcs she’s an ancient leader, then they should put the same effort into voicing her properly as they would a mesopotamian or ancient egyptian leader (even if those are imperfect)

It's probably a Corsican or Italian accent, reflecting the one he had in real life. Napoleon spoke with a strong accent, and as a kid was even mocked for it! Keep in mind he was born just after Corsica became French, at a time where it was much more Italian than today.

Man, the final batch of leaders has really been a big yawn for me. Napoleon, Rizal, Freidrich, all close to the bottom for me in terms of interest. Himiko's Queen of Wa, and Lafayette (who I've cooled on) I'll play at some point but they're low down my list. Tubman I like the idea of her more than her abilities...

Out of the final batch, the only one I actually am looking forward to is Catherine...

At least there were a lot of early leader reveals I was very interested by!
