so for people which explained me that "Sugar doesn't always spawn on marsh", please explain me how will I get even ONE sugar before machinery ?
I never ever had Sugar on Marsh playing VP... maybe it is a matter of map script? I used standard maps only

I'm wondering. Did you G approve or have time to implement any of the tweaks discussed on the map size thread? I see none in the changelog.

I didn’t make any changes from that, no. We just changed the map stuff a version ago and I don’t want to run down the field without seeing what those changes did. And, to be honest, I remain slightly skeptical that it needs changes beyond what we’ve already done.

Ah, ok. If you ever change your mind, that work is still there.

marble giving 8 hammers in the ancient era with craftsmen and stoneworks, in addition to it's %15 wonder modifier (nevermind the top tier monopoly) is .. whats the word? game-warping. Base cotton standing out in the other direction

Getting a marble monopoly that early is extremely unlikely.

I agree I've never had more than two marble, and even after the Industrial era I won't approach controlling over 40% of the marble in the world.

Can someone tell me what the map changes were? I swear I never read anything about this.

I think he is refering to the "bug" where only 1 or 2 copy of marble are on the map, so the marble monopoly is quite easy to have. Some players are reporting this happening "quite frequently" on pangea or oval map script, though I personnaly never remarqued it.

I haven't nor do I intend to touch mapscripts. That's all done in LUA.

I had a few games where 3 copies of marble spawned in the world and I was able to get a monopoly from the national monument that gives an extra copy of a resource, but I think gazebo changed the monopoly code recently to make sure you only get the monopoly if you have 51% of the resource.

General thoughts, changing god of all creation entirely i don't love. Would have liked it just nerfed a bit. the happiness pantheon when you aren't going for a religion was a good niche.

Tried the plantation pantheon out in the current game. Takes for bloody ever to get it online. With Spain, with stonehenge, still missed out on a religion. Got all the markets up and everything.

The actual effects are fantastic but I really dislike how often it seems a real hassle fighting for a religion and not getting it. I'm doing far better than I normally do, but I never play spain, and can't evaluate if it's the pantheon, Spain, or the silk monopoly that has be doing ridiculously well.

no, i was talking about a tile that yields 8 hammers in the ancient era + %15 production bonus to wonders in a very typical scenario... thats why i said nevermind the monopoly. if y'all think thats cool, cool.

anyway quarry improvement description looks bugged, it mentions i can build on uranium about 8 separate times. and i have an improved citrus thats not giving gold, trying to figure that out now...

Citrus on plains with a plantation - yield is currently 2f 1p, which is the same as before plantation was made. the files indicate it should be giving 1f 1g for the improvement, I dont get it.

The old god of all creation is the first thing in this mod that could truly be called overpowered, I would rush a pantheon every single game no matter the civ or the plan just because no matter how fast I got my pantheon the ai would always have gotten theirs (on immortal at least) for the extremely massive 8 happiness and 8 culture, I think even in games where I was playing a religious civ I would pick god of all creation and rush Stonehenge and shrines to get a religion.

I am not getting +3 food from Oasis when I had Spirit of the Desert as my pantheon. The other yields were working fine though
