Having been at Oktoberfest last week, I must say I love the idea. Definately a German only wonder (if I ever get back to work on my mod )

I waited in the rain for near 5 hours to get in the Loewenbrau tent, (my train delayed, or I bought the wrong ticket) where my friends were waiting. I got in by 2 pm and let's just say that I made up for lost time. We left by 8 pm and I got on the wrong train (3 hours earlier than my ticket said)! After being kicked off, I spent the rest of the night and wee hours going from Augsburg to Bering (or was it Mering?), Danauworth, and then

I finally got on a train to Nurnberg and from there, finally to Frankfurt, so what should have been a simple 3 hours ride ended up being a horrendous, yet moderately amusing, drunken adventure lasting over 12 hours.
