Well those look nice.

The one at the bottom could be Salomon's temple...

Oh and the church (former church actually) is Saint Sofia of Constantinople. In Greek it's called Hagia Sofia.

I think that one in the bottom corner is a castle and the one in the upper-right is the Apollo Program and I think that other one is the Parathion

isn´t the parathion the thing with pillars and stuff upon the acropolis?

Those look like pillars to me
maybe its not the parathion i dont know what else it could be though...

I agree, That one in the bottom center could be the parthenon, here's what it looks like in real life...
<IMG SRC="http://homer.reed.edu/thumbnails/JGA0045.GIF" ALT="Photo of Parthenon">
Whaddaya think?

no, it can´t be the parathion because:
the roof has wrong shape
it has only a few pillars
the pillars are on the "second floor"

i would say it's not the parthenon.

Solomon's temple is a possibility though.
It is about the right shape and architecture to be Solomon's temple. The real Solomon's temple had a perimeter wall forming a large courtyard full of altars, bronze basin, etc. which is not in this graphic.

Maybe it is Solomon's Temple
Does anybody know where we could get a pic of what they think it looked like back then
wink.gif
also what purpose do you think it would have

It reminds me of one of the original seven wonders of the ancient world:
-- The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus --

I think it is maybe the mausoleum at halicarnassus, another of the 7 wonders of the ancient world..The temple of Artemis I don't think is two stories...the mausoleum is described like this:

The structure was rectangular in plan, with base dimensions of about 40 m (120 ft) by 30 m (100 ft). Overlying the
foundation was a stepped podium which sides were decorated with statues. The burial chamber and the sarcophagus of
white alabaster decorated with gold were located on the podium and surrounded by Ionic columns. The colonnade
supported a pyramid roof which was in turn decorated with statues. A statue of a chariot pulled by four horses adorned
the top of the tomb.

i don´t think it´s a greek building because it lack pillars.

salomon's temple looked like this:

what do you think?

I guess Solomon's temple is more similar than any of the other possibilities...That picture doesn't have straight corners like the city view graphic, but no one's seen it for a few thousand years, so there's bound to be different interpretations...Solomon's temple gets my vote.
(or could it be just some normal city improvement and not a wonder at all?)

I'm quite sure its a wonder because all the other buildings are wonders but Solomons Temple has a pitched(steep)roof and the wonder really dosent In fact that other temple has a rally steep pitch too hmmm.... maybe they just used a different drawing

But what would Solomon's temple DO? Make the Babylonians attack you?
wink.gif
I suppose it could be some happiness helper, but that would be kinda boring...

HEY i got an idea
cwm40.gif
maybe its a culture modifer everybody in israel was really proud of the Temple
