Newb question ...

I have been playing for about 1 month now...love the game. I have a question about contacting other rulers. Th screen that you go to you can only contact 8 rulers ( I think it is 8 anyway) to start trades and such. Is there anyway to contact more from that screen. Even after I get communications from other rulers I still can not figure out how to talk to the newly contacted civ...thanks in advance for the info =)

Ther should be on option just above and to-the-left of the ring of leaders that says something like "More Leaders". Its a pull down menu IIRC.

Vanilla Civ3 doesn't have that I think, Godwynn.

For vannilla Civ3, you can Shift - right click on a portait to change it to another civ.

You can also press the "D" (Diplomacy) button in the lower-right-hand corner of the screen, above "E" (Espionage).

Thanks so much for the info. i knew there had to be a way to do it...and i should have posted that i do have the vannilla civ 3
