3) Yes a vote would still be taken, but each person would vote for themselves and since you need more than 50% of the vote no one would win and the game would go on.
 
Me and brother want to play hotseat on huge map but cant get more computers how do you get around this.
 
For the hotseat mode you only need one computer, that's what hotseat is. Just go to the multiplayer screen and select local, not internet. Further there will be an option for hotseat.
 
how do u play with more than 8 civs in hotseat game, in the editor it say the scenerio is set for 31 civs, but only lets me chose 8 civs to play with when i load it. what shouold i do...help:confused:
 
but what about ai players? How do u make more than 8, can u? The editor says it does, but when load game their is only 8 civs, counting me and my brother.:confused:
 
choose scenario, then scenario properies in the editor. somewhere there's a pulldown-menu for player number..... Jeez, search around a bit, we all also do not have a manual for the editor, we also need to play around with it to find stuff. I found it right away!
 
I'm currently at war with about 16 countries and I'm in a Republican Gov. My people are suffering 30% WW but I have no idea which F**cking country is causing it!!

Does anyone know of a way to tell which country you are at war with is causing your countries war weariness?

Whichever country is beating the crap out of you, I guess. Which one is killing the most units or taking cities.
 
Unfortunately this is some kind of war mod and they are ALL beating me up, I can't seem to make peace with them all at once. It looks like I just made peace with the right civ cuz the ww went down, but there should be a way to tell which country is causing the most ww and so on.
 
It can attack more than once in one turn.

I THINK I'VE FIGURED OUT EDITING RULES FOR THE REGULAR GAME, BUT GOT SOME OTHER QUESTIONS.

I DOWNLOADED A SCENARIO, PLAYED IT SOME, AND WOULD LIKE TO ALTER IT A BIT. CAN THIS BE DONE? IT WONT LET ME EDIT THE SAVED GAMES BECAUSE THEY'RE "NOT A SCENARIO FILE".

1.- IS IT POSSIBLE (IF SO,HOW?) TO CONVERT THE SAVED GAME INTO A SCENARIO?
2.- IF I EDIT RULES OF THE ORIGINAL SCENARIO BIC, WILL THEY TAKE EFFECT IN ANY SAVED GAMES OF THIS SCENARIO? OR WOULD I HAVE TO START THE SCENARIO ALL OVER?

How can i get the Civs to start in a specific starting location? I have tried to do this on Civ3Editor and the civs won't start where i want them to. Has anyone else been trying to do this too?

There is no way to do this in PTW yet. For civ3 saved games you can use the civ3 multitool saved game editor

to load the game then MAP-> Export as BIC

This tools works pretty well but it's not officially supported by firaxis, who would say "use at your own risk."

Gramphos is working on a PTW of the multitool version but it needs a lot of work.
 
I tried to use the C3MT once but it didn't work. The BIC failed to open...

What version of C3MT? What civ3 patch was the game saved in?
 
If I host a pbem game, how can I control what order my civ plays? The game setup always forces me to play first. :(
