Enjoying playing the Romans in standard world, but have a couple of needs that I can't find answers for, in the manual or Civilopedia.

1. I have a Great Leader (formed when conquering a Greek city (Don't blame me--they started it!), and I have moved him into my capital city. I can't figure out how to either hurry a Grt. Wonder or form an army with him.

2. While Greece was kicking my butt, I declined oppy's to convert to Democracy and to Republic. How can I do it now, given that the war's tide has turned? Should I do it now?

3. Should I worry that it's now 1700 AD, and I'm still in the Legionary/Pikeman phase? I guess it just means I'm not efficient in progressing.

Thanks, all, and what a great game! Oh, and I second the comment in another thread that an "undo" option would be awesome.

1. These commands are unit commands like disband etc. When the leader is active there will be two buttons active, one is hurry production and the other is build army. You can't do it from the city screen.

2. To change government either press shift-g or go to the Domestic advisor (F1) and then click on your current form of government. You then go into a period of anarchy and after that is over you get a choice of government types depending on what you have researched. Anarchy lasts from between 1 and 7 or so turns. 1 if your a religeous civ, up to 7 or so if your unlucky.

3. The only thing that matters is whether you are as advanced as the other civs. The Science advisor (F6) will inform you how advanced you are in relation to other civs.
