590 AD: The great emperor Thiazi after a 320 hundred year absence and peacefully retains the throne that is rightfully his. His first acts are to rush the temple at Knossos and the harbor at Pharsalos. Each city lost 1 population point in their efforts to appease the emperor. Thiazi then traded our territory map to the Babylonians for their world map. In honor of our emperors reemergence to the throne, Athens establishes a party of settler to help expand our glorious empire.
600 AD: Pharsalos completes its harbor and starts production of a library. Knossos completes its temple and starts the production of a harbor. Athens completes a regiment of archers and starts the production of a group of settlers. Horrible news! The Babylonians have started the production of the Great Lighthouse.
610 AD: The emperor is generous; he has raised the luxury rate to 10%. The library in Pharsalos is rushed but at the cost of 1 population point.
620 AD: Pharsalos starts the production of a group of hoplites to defend our vital ore outpost.
630 AD: Our settler has landed on the eastern shore of NW Island! We have started the production of a great road from Epherus to Argos! Horrible news! The treacherous Babylonians have demanded our territory map and 38 gold; emperor Thiazi obliges for now is not the time for war.
640 AD: The great city of Rhodes is founded on the eastern shore of NW Island! A group of settlers has been completed in Athens and they will be sent to secure our iron deposit on Zulu Island. Great news! The glorious city of Delphi has completed its library and it will now focus its attention on a group of hoplites. The cultural boundaries in Pharsalos have expanded!
650 AD: We have continued the improvement of our infrastructure.
660 AD: Our settlers have landed on Zulu Island!
670 AD: Our scholars have mastered the secrets of polytheism; may the Gods watch over us! They will now focus their attention on a new form of government called a monarchy. Terrible news! The wretched Iroquois have completed the Great Wall.
680 AD: Our diplomats have traded the secrets of our many Gods to the Babylonians for their knowledge of a new government called the Republic. Our diplomats have traded our secrets of literature to the Ruß for 37 gold and their world map. An uprising has occurred in Athens and our government is no more. Experts believe that this state of may last 30 years.
690 AD: Our country is in a state of anarchy.
700 AD: The city of Eretria is founded on the Zulu Island to secure our source of iron; they have started to gather a group of hoplites to protect themselves.
710 AD: Great news! The military has suppressed the revolters and we have now established a representative government to appease the masses. Our leader, Thiazi has raised our science rates to 40% and our scholars will learn the secrets of the monarchy in 20 turns. Our diplomats have purchases the secrets of mathematics from the Babylonians for 80 gold. Some of the townspeople have noticed the presence of a group of Babylonian warriors and settlers on our land; we believe that they our lost and will not be much of a threat.
720 AD: Emperor Thiazi has rushed the production of the Library at Argos for the cost of 44 gold. Our diplomats have established embassies with the Zulu and the Ruß at the cost of 34 gold each. Our diplomats have purchased a group of Babylonian workers for 25 gold and our diplomats have sold polytheism to the Ruß for their world map, 9 gold and 2 gold per turn. They also purchased a Ruß worker for 25 gold.
730 AD: The citizens of Argos have completed their library; they will now focus their attention on the production of a courthouse. Our newly acquired workers are building a road to the silk that is just south of Athens. Our diplomats have sold our world map to the Babylonians for their world map and 4 gold.
Overall, I feel that my reign went really well. We completed several temples and libraries, acquired three new technologies, founded two new cities and switched our government from Despotism to the Republic. Whoever has the next turn should move the ships in Athens out, so that we can immediately begin exploring new lands when we get the Great Library (10 turns). We should look into raising our research rate and when we get Monarchy, we should milk it for all it is worth. I think we will be fine remaining under the Republic but that will be the next rulers decision. We should probably start to build up somewhat of a military, right now we are very weak in that department and are vulnerable to losing our foreign territories and we are a good target for invasion. I wish much luck to our next ruler and may the Gods protect Greece!
