News: BOTM 42 Results and Congratulations

This game attracted quite a few entries, and produced a new Eptathlete - congratulations to Conquistador63, whoze bronze medal and fastest conquest completed his Eptathlon. 1310AD is an impressive date for conquest considering on this map you couldn't get to all but one of the AIs until you had astronomy. Score-wise, srad (gold medal) and zamint3 (silver) both got over 200K points - no mean feat considering again how little land you had pre-astronomy. And I'd also mention Fredericksberg's 1705 spacerace finish is a remarkable date.

I know I'm late so I try to milk a little balancing on the edge of domination. I give back 3-4 cities to both Stalin and KK.

Well apparently I was not that late.....

Vassalage Wang Kon and Gandhi in 1535AD. The game gives me a conquest victory with 90.00% pop and 70.64% land.

It is decided randomly whether you get domination or conquest, right!?

Look under the relevant "Awards" page in the Pantheon of Heroes to see the Awards that players have accumulated. Those who have accumulated a full set of Awards from winning the various victory types will receive a pretty, green-coloured (eroded copper?) statue. If you are super awesome, then you can get a "stack" of multiple statues, as Conquistador 63 has already done for the Vanilla GOTMs.
