Is t possible that Isabella of Portugal was correct, and we will be getting Portugal? Sorry, I don't know too much about history/history of Portugal to know if she is an appropriate leader for that civ

The problem is that the portraits were alphabetically on country, so the place didn't fit Portugal but did fit Spain.

Man I'm checking this thread at least 3 times a day looking for news. Seems like we'll be getting DLC in the not too distant future due to the new achievements.

*crosses fingers*

Only three times? Are you even a civfanatic? :P

Well, Portugal would at least fits the exploration theme (but so would the Netherlands)!

The Netherlands? Now that would be awesome. I expect having to wait for an expansion until I can play them, but earlier would certainly be better. (as I'm Dutch myself)

On my Steam panel, Civ6 shows "Update queued" after it.

Dang-nab-it -- I have accumulated almost 2500 points in my current (huge continents/prince) game, and I'd like to achieve it before I have to start over again.

... let the furrballs fly

I am more confident that it is Isabella than any other possibility. I wouldn't be surprised that the Inca, Maya, or Iroquois show up in the scenario like the Ottomans did in the Poland scenario.

Nooo!! Wasn't there some ruthless psychopathic maniac leader (that's what I think most of them were, no matter how cute their virtual entity in the game might look like, or how noble their desc in the Civilopedia might sound) in the history of mankind, who had his/ her birthday let's say... today?!

Okay, thanks! :)
The 22nd is the official date...but this is President's Day Weekend.

16.1 MB download completed at 10:50AM Pacific
... but it's still version 1.0.0.56

The only thing that really aligned was England's First Look on the anniversary of Victoria's coronation. I think we can consider that theory debunked.

It was just a Steam thing, not a gameplay patch. Although it will be coming sometime here in the next week or so, many of us suspect.

So do you think it's safe to say that the DLC won't be released today anymore?
Because in that case I'd be doing something else instead of overstraining my F5 key anymore.. :undecide:

The 2kqa_a was updated, I'm no expert on interpreting what this might mean. Does this mean we are still likely to have a patch today?

It means it is unlikely to be today. They will test that one. If it is the final version, the Mac and Linux qa builds will be brought up to the same level before it is released. Tomorrow at the earliest. Most likely next week.

Wouldn't it be possible that the last update would be something along the lines of "fixing some spelling errors in tooltips"?

Anything's possible. Although, if I were them, I wouldn't change a qa build just for spelling. Spelling errors don't need to be beta tested.

Remember, I'm just making educated guesses based on observation and feeble logic.

No patch tonight. IF there is one then I'll pay Firaxis $10 for both DLC's currently out. I'm putting patch tonight at 2% and patch next Thursday at 98% Final verdict.

Only odd part is that the 2kqa-a updated slightly earlier then usual but I wouldnt put much weight on that.

I agree that it's a small chance tonight and the highest chance next Thursday and that the qa update timing today is odd, but I would give Tuesday and Wednesday moderate chances and tomorrow a low chance as well.

I still think we will probably be getting two Civs this DLC, I am not sure why, its just a hunch, but, here is to hoping!

The Mac and Linux qa builds updated again for the second time today... that's interesting. The scope of the changes is larger than this morning and on par with the 2K qa build update from earlier this afternoon.

I would say this slightly increases the chance of having the patch/DLC tomorrow.
