NFL player, a eloquent and creative communicator

I used to play WoW with Kluwe. He's awesome.

I am not Chuck Norris, and I approve of this message.

I don't really think thats particularly elloquent at all. It's great for the typical audience of Deadspin (Male, 18-35, fond of jokes about penises and crude humor), but its not like this is written in a way that's actually going to change any minds.

I like Deadspin and read it often, but cmon.

That letter is awful. It's terribly written, painfully unfunny, and detracts from the actions of Brendon Ayanbadejo, the Ravens player who took a mature political stand and was threatened by a member of his legislature for daring to express an opinion. It also hides the fact that the Ravens organization was decent enough to stand up for Ayanbadejo; that's much more eloquent than an obnoxious letter sent by the NFL's most consistently obnoxious and stupid player.

I don't know about American football but in soccer there is still a lot of homophobia. I can't even think of any big-name players coming out of the closet.. There is still a lot of lockerrooom "We're guys and if you're not one of us, get the hell out!" attitude.

I'd imagine that this sort of atmosphere would be even more manly and homophobic in american football.. I mean, the game is a lot more physical. I don't follow gridiron at all but this surprised me.
