Nintend Reveloution, X-Box 360, PS 3 which one is better?

This is XBox 360 sold in Japan.
Not so hot sales unlike USA.
Maybe delay of DOA4 hit hard on consumer's mind.

I think PS2 had more sales because it was released earlier. Although, I am the only one of my friends that likes the PS2. XBox did pretty well on home soil however.
My question is, how much is the PS3 going to cost?
I've heard estimates of $500-$1000.
That means I wont get one until 2010.

That'll never happen. The accepted price range for consoles doesn't exceed 500, and it won't, because as soon as the PS3 is released, the X360 will be dropped $100. It is way too much for causal gamers, and Sony OWNS that market and wouldn't alienate them. They advertise for the most powerful and coolest system because that attracts the casual gamer, but they would never actually make something to expensive for their market. It'll be 500 tops.

While I don't know the exact numbers, the sales went something like:

PS2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Xbox >>> Gamecube

I think Xbox is going to storm through with the 360. I too invested alot in PS 1 days but think Sony is slippin. I have a PS 1, sold my PS 2. Never had an Xbox but am going to keep my PS 1, and get Xbox 360.

For me, definiely the Revolution, and probably a PS3 after a while, when the price drops and more good games are available. Nearly all of my favorite games are for old systems, so backwards-compatibility is my primary consideration. Being compatible with Cube games right out of the box, and emulation of older games also being made available (no more having to play illegal ROMs or paying an arm and a leg for hard-to-find games!), I think that's a winner right there.

But again, I'll also have an eye on the PS3. There's some stuff on there that interests me.
