No-CD (Piracy) Rule?

If you purchased the game and download the no-CD for your own convenience, then there is certainly nothing illegal about that.

The problem with allowing no-CD posts on the forum is we have no way of verifying a poster purchased the game or not, and also info posted on the forum is available to everyone, even those who pirated the game.
How about the illegality (not just illegal, but criminal) of the posters copying stories from other web-sites and pasting them in posts here on CFC? Where is the concern and warning of those CFCers. By editing some posts (NoCD cracks) and not others (wholesale copying of web articles) you open yourself a can o' worms legally as it seems that you condone one (web article copying and reposting on CFC forums).

Seems like a double standard to me.

Doesn't CFC hold a no-CD patch of some sort of one of the earlier Civ games, or am I hallucinating?

There's one for Civ2, as wel las the nesecary files to turn vanilla Civ2 into the Multiplayer Gold Edition and the other espansion. Or were. Although I bough Civ Chronicals so I own them all now.

I have images for several of my games that I play a lot, but they take up too much space.
