No more training days???

On what basis could you split a TDG? Take it in turns to offer critiques? I'm not sure how that would work, since it might mean some of the co-ordination was lost.

Splitting in teams could certainly work. You could have the same map/game, and see how the different teams fare depending on the approach they take in the game. That could probably work a lot better.

Sirp and I did split teams in EG2 and it worked pretty well. I was suggesting that you played one game, where two sets of eyes would be better since both you and Amirsan seemed a bit uncomfortable running your own game.

There'd be a danger of too many cooks spoiling the broth. Besides, there'd be a lot of duplication, since it's likely that we'd be pointing out similar strategies and mistakes.

Amirsan: I did not realize you were looking to run the game, I thought you were just commenting on the lack of them. I certainly do not wish to steal your thunder, so please, go ahead and run a TDG if that is your wish.

u might respect them but i know some people look down on u bc u dont speak english as well.

Well sure, I'll start a training game, and it will certainly be an open one, so all advice, strategies and points will gladly be received. I just think that from an organizational point of view, it is better to have one person "in charge" so there is no confusion and duplication. A bit like filming a movie, really, you need one director to co-ordinate :D

I'll create a sign-up thread and people who wish to play can vote on the difficulty level.

I am certainly agreeable to running parallel games on the same map, but I don't want it to be a competition to see which team wins. Surely the aim of a training game is to learn, not to win?

Great stuff :goodjob:

I'll create a sign-up thread. Then we can split the teams.

Assuming we get enough players, of course ;)

Thank you Speaker and I hope you can participate in the games with your seasoned advice :)

Here's the sign-up thread
