:joke: Actually, I'd love to play but not sure yet if I should commit. It be pretty good scenario but all you maties are gonna wanna be sure to get this to fix several bugs/crashes. Savvy?

Everything you need is in The Guardian updated version. Prior to this version the ships were very good but were like having 6 versions of the same thing. The Guardian replaced them and created ships that will amaze you and more each of the can be refitted with better and more canons after certain techs are achieved.

Ship to ship battles are unlike standard ships, because of their A/D/M battles take on like a movie sense, attacks. counter attacks, its so much better than we are used to.

Recently I have opened the Swashbucklers slot and decided on the Undead Pirates. I will find each of you in due time and terrorize you, no joke.

WE are still lacking one effect though, as good as it currently is, the Civilopedia is incomplete. The game is extremely payable but many buildings, units, concepts etc. have no entries and all of these thing a extremely important due to how many paths are available to play this game, it is astounding.

I have meant to ask around for those that enjoy working with the pedia editor (I understand it is a massive task) I have not yet, sorry I have been busy, the fun kind of busy.

Notice the date on post #1 this has been holding strong all this time and that tells me that everyone here will be here when its ready

O Aye, well for the most part the game is awesome, I'll send you a link from where the game was built but for why this game hasn't started yet is mostly because the Civilopedia entries need quite a bit of work and the game crashes when you view some entries.

Just go to the top here and look for "thread tools" an subscribe and change it to instant emails and you'll get updates as they occur

This begins
Its been an exceptional year for taxes these past few years and it shows, The Dutch, Portugal, and France joins Spain and Britain in ship building. Fast and slow ships set sail from everywhere.
 
Today a pair of French Frigates enters the Cayman Islands and spots a Pirate ship flying the Peglegs colors. Buccaneers ready the canons but the French Captains quickly use their advantage and send iron threw their hull
 
Captain Tucker of the Peglegs changes course towards to action, brings in within range and fires on the French Frigates and scores a direct hit and safely sails to Cayman Islands' harbor
 
The French ship Vixon sails within range of the Dutch Fleet bound for the New World

The French Merchanman glad to be out sailed for once.
 
France notices the sending presumeably their whole Navy towards to New World and so decides to leave a few of his tall ships for intercept missions when they return loaded.

Back to the drawing board, "The Undead Pirates" did not have the economy/land to support itself beyond 10 turns.

This post will describe within spoiler this of possible interest regarding game mechanics.
The First turn of all 8 leaders have been played setting their Artilery to "Sentry" and simply skipping the moves for Melee and ship units. Each Leader's research was set to 10% and Palace components were built.

Below will show the status of turn 2 and observations

Guinea has no way to build a worker or any Melee units
France's treasury is 929g and -14gptnd researching Sea Trade

In Bayonne orders for a secret mission are received to reinforce New Orleans and Beaumont to expand into Spanish territory even if it means War.

A Pair of French Corvette from Goudeloupe and Dominica Rally to set sail from the West Indies North to Port-de-Paix to meet up with a third Corvette waiting ing the Harbor

The Martinique's Frigate La Poitrine assumes patrolling duty of the Southern Islands
