No zulu..

Hey hold your horses man! My brother and I want to see the Zulu in and they are my favorite, but he has several favorites, including the Zulu. Are you trying to say we can't vote as we see fit? Been playing these games twenty years, we know who we want for civs my friend.

I'm just sure in the case of nokmirt - based on earlier posts - that he also wants other civs too
I find it unfair to only push your favourite, when there is a different poll directly for that

Dude he can only make one vote. He wants the Zulu in and feels they should be added. He wanted Carthage, but their already in. He said he voted carthage on the favorites thread. I'm stuck with Ethiopia until the Zulu come out.

One poll was closed after 38 votes, not much of a sample to work with there.

Alright, I have no intention in getting into anything like this
I only wanted to ask everyone, not to push only your favourite civ on the multiple poll. I tried to be clear that it's about all the civs you would like to see included
There is the other poll for your fav. civ, and I clearly wanted to make this difference between the 2 polls

Anyway, it's more than really strange that only the 3 of you voted this way, and only for the Zulu
I would even say, that this is also nokmirt using a different account
Maybe your brother, maybe not - actually I don't care that much, do what you want

From the bottom up- Nah! My brother is too much of a straight shooter to make a second account. Who is the third person? The rest man, I feel Zulu should be in. It does not feel like civ without em!

Because they're a staple Civilization of the series. They've been in pretty much every game since the beginning.

Just because they have been in previous Civ games doesn't mean they should have been or should be in future ones. I've been playing Civilization since 1996 but there's been a lot of bad things in previous games that should not return just because of nostalgia.

Well, it doesn't make any sense if the Zulu don't come back.

Doesn't make sense to keep adding a mistake. Some people still want it though, so its better to milk it for a 2nd expansion or DLCs for those who still somehow think the Zulu are worthy

I got used to having them in the game. A civ to me does not have to be overly glorified, or be known for some extraordinary benefit to mankind, to be in a civilization game. Keep in mind the Zulus still live on in Africa today. Those people do have a legacy, and like any other people in the world, are entitled to one. By saying they are not worthy really is insulting your own intelligence. Everyone is worthy, and like any other people, the Zulus did have their part to play in history.

The Zulu are certainly worthy to be included. They meet all the criteria of a Civilization: permanent settlements, their own language, a unique culture (especially with regard to CiV due to there being no southern Africans present), innovations unique to their society (mobile army, their own style of weapons, etc), their own faith, and had a profound effect on history. If you're up to date on your African history, you're aware that Shaka's ascension caused serious upheaval in southern Africa. Said upheaval had profound effects on the various populaces of the region, resulting in widespread migrations and potentially easier colonization in the the region by Europeans. The Zulu didn't just fight the British and win once. They dominated the southern African social and political stage for several generations.
