Personally, I think christos is scum because he's being so deliberately unhelpful. He only reveals little bits about his role when pressured to, and it gives me the impression he's making at least some of this up as he goes along, or just trying very hard to hide something suspicious. If he's going to publicly claim seer, why not just be clear about that from the start? He already becomes a target the moment he claims that, it's not like being clear about what exactly his ability does makes him more of one, and it's a lot more helpful to the town if he can clarify his ability than if he just says "I have a scan *mumblemumble* x is mafia."
Actually, I imagine an ability sort of like the one he claims to have exists, it might be his, or it might belong to a teammate of his, but who says he has to be town just because he has some sort of investigative ability? At least one of Winston and spaceman clearly had a scan, and they weren't townies. And regardless, he's being incredibly obtuse and unhelpful and literally asking people to lynch him. His behavior just screams "anti-townie" to me, and I think he's the best lynch at this point.

That's a valid point- azzaman's being just as thick on his reasons for disbelieving christos as christos was being thick about his reasons for voting spaceman and SamSniped. That being said....
So, you want azzaman to post his reasons for voting christos, but you don't want christos to post his reasons for voting SamSniped? Because that's basically what I'm getting out of this. Why the sudden change of heart? Could it be that one of them is your scumbuddy and one of them isn't?

Same here, Samsniped. The way christos has been claiming seems odd, but if it turns out he's lying we can just lynch him tomorrow.

By now, with a few injudicious PMs I'll guess scummy factions know a lot about alignments, while Town continues to flounder. While it's easy to say "I'm Town," even lies (which can be discredited) move us toward clarity. Christos in particular needs to tell us more. But for now ...

That's precisely why I think Christos is scum, too. He's already a target to scum by claiming to be a prophet, yet for some reason (even with three kills a night) he hasn't been targeted yet. Why is this? Why is a claimed prophet still alive to point out non-Town roles?

So we got Christos saying his ability is one thing, and an ability scanner is saying his ability is a completely different thing. These games would be so much easier if everybody would just agree on everything!

He haven't claimed prophet... and while I could reach to understand the secretive nature of all his reveals I think it is time to put all in public, because this won't wash away and tomorrow we will again trying to figure out what to make with christos...

He claims to have the ability to detect whether someone is LotR or SW and whether they are Town or otherwise. What kind of ability is that if it's not prophet, scryer, cop or other name of choice?

While I agree Takhibarto needs to explain many things better, he have been kind of cooperative without pressure compared to christos in my humble opinion.
