None Shall Pass 2 [Game Thread - Concluded]

F***ing Jedi arseholes.
Why are you so impolite?
rofl

this game has been personally hilarious on my end
Why?
JohannaK is contributing a lot less than he can.
And his reply isn't very productive either.
I just realized that the entire Morgoth faction died to night kills. Not a single one was lynched.
Sigh.
Networking and dumb luck can work against the mafiascum, mentlegen.
Well, then either christos' scan was faulted and it gave him a bad result, or he was straight up lying, neither of which would've been beneficial.
Don't worry, we'll get there in time.

Tally:

SamSniped: 7 (Internet Flea, Newyn, Tanar Aerdoth, Kennigit, Legato Endless, Riedquat, edse)
JohannaK: 1 (Snerk)

Clearly JohannaK-me has a vengeful-lynchee ability that will kill any and all who vote for him, so Suneruku-san is not voting in order to stay alive.

Hell hath no fury like a JoanK lynched!

Who is this JoanK that thou speakest of?

Indeed there's fish involved! The Norwegian does not want to vote for the obvious culprit. I suggest we vote Mr. K in the next round and, if he doesn't prove to be mafia, Snerk himself.

Honest question. Is there anything I can do at this point that would stop this bandwagon?

You've been fingered by a Seer. A town cleared one who's already delivered an accurate scan. That's a hard train to stop. It's not perhaps impossible, but it would require either you giving up something really worthwhile and still having something else to make keeping you alive worthwhile, some revelation that entirely changes the established paradigm, or there's always the last resort of any trapped player. Demagogue.

More practically, you could reveal your actual faction and give details. If this was some strange overwrought gambit to claim the ring, you could admit you have it. You'd still probably die in either case, but it would be helpful to know what's going on.

If Christos took a block result and interpreted it as indicative of something, well, that's just terrible luck on your end.

If it's none of these...well, Zack will get to wax at length about what the hell was going here.

@Riedquat, at least I'm assuming that. I'm assuming he scanned SamSniped the night Sam joined the game, because he made his claim the next morning.

The original post from edse I was responding to from him made it sound like christos scanned Sam the night he was killed, in which case he wouldn't be able to share results. I hope that makes sense.

Oh, thanks for clarification, I thought you were saying the scan took place other day.

Short answer, no.

If you turn out town there is the possibility of a bus driver ability taking place there but going into action twice, first with christos and later with BSmith... perhaps? I don't know...

I'm more concerned about why BSmith died when he supposedly targeted you, Sam, and of course how Christos managed to get a result from you in the first place. Are you actually Town, SamSniped? At this point, only honesty has even a chance of saving you.

Is there even a chance? I don't even think he lied, but this just goes to prove that honesty is absolutely worthless against a prejudiced (and hypocritical) mob.

And after Sam dies I guess I'll be next. Moreso if he is not Town...

If he is not Town, then we've got the right person. If he is, then Christos has a lot of posthumous answering for. Do you have any other leads?

I must acknowledge I do not. But I strongly dislike uncontested wagons and fear that my abstaining today may be misread and taken advantage of by people who already seem to suspect me baselessly.
