North American colonization

The landscape isn't terribly diverse. It just looks like giant blocks of one type of biomes everywhere and it's not very interesting. Like, all the tundra in Western Norway. It should be more hilly and mountainy, with grassland, not tundra. Also the Eastern US isn't a good place to settle with all the forests, maybe take away a few? Also, Lousianna and Southern Florida should have a bit more swamps.

The main thing to work on is terrain diversity. The Balkans have hills and mountains and some plains too, and not all of Ireland is a giant forest. Also, the alps right above Italy should be more hilly and mountainy too.

Also, Venice is in Northeastern Italy, not in Western Iberia. I think you were thinking Portugal.

Cologne should be placed one tile to the south-East. Right now it's on the spot of Dusseldorf/Essen/Dortmund (just choose one)

Looks like a nice map, but Europe is way too big compared to North America and also placed too much north.
