No, but I would like to highlight my opponent Beefy's refusal to address the issue. Can we really allow someone who, even under the stress of an accusation, still clings to the pretense of humor?

In addition, my opponent probably flip-flopped on his voting choices last year on Proposition 1,328 and that's the sort of uncertainty that we can't allow into public office.

Er, I mean, that espouses a traitorous deception.

I'm new around here. I don't know who to trust, or who out of Renata, Nictel, Methos would be the best choice. So consider my attempt of humour as abstain vote as its not going to make much of a difference.

Rather then hopping on the bandwagon, I'll be different.

And don't tell me you can resist the image of Italian plumber with a red cap. Running around saying "mama mia!" with dual pistol.

Lets see if I can do this right. Renata for the blue gun. Nictel for the green one. sprig for the strange stone. Beefy187 for the communication room key.

There's not much reasoning behind those choices. I don't think Renata should get both pistols, so I voted for the person with the next highest amount of votes. I recognize sprig and Beefy well he's just awesome.

I'd like to vote abstain if I can, since I haven't finished reading through the thread. I'm not sure when the voting stops, and I'd like to get something in before it closes.

ATPG, you have always seemed a sneaky person to me, is there anything you want to say?

The 1st private hesitates for a moment to think if she has anything more to say. She rolls her healed shoulder a couple of times and then her eyes lighten up. "My arm's fit... That means I can..."

She runs off and comes back shortly after, brandishing her violin. Eyes closed, she solemnly begins to play an encouraging tune. After the tune is through, she goes back to her room with the violin and returns without it, her eyes still shining like stars. "That sure did help. If anyone's still feeling down, please, come speak to me. I think I may have the cure for just that at my disposal."

She looks at the rifleman. "No. Not like that. Something less... physical."

Having polished off an entire case of lager, the Rifleman has spent much of the afternoon asleep, snoring loudly and dreaming of things unfit for public description. When he finally awakes, he looks quite unwell. Nevertheless, he manages to utter a few words before stumbling off in search of more booze:

You know who I think's a wrong-un? The 2nd Private, that's who. All the other privates and corporals are total babes, but every time I start dreaming about one of them, that great hairy lump Krill pops into my head.

At the very least, the chicks ought to wear different uniforms to the guys. Something in rubber, maybe...

The 1st Corporal has been wandering about the cold outpost, smoking and daydreaming. The thoughts flow unimpeded. The flurry of accusations against Autolycus, the smattering of resistance, the shocking result. Diamondeye's injury.

Diamondeye ...

If her memory is true, the first five of Autolycus' accusers had all been talking with Diamondeye at just about that time.* Nothing to explain in the accusations, no choices really to be made. The later accusations -- choxorn, sadly dead now. PaulusIII, civplayah. Convinced by the original accusation, or just trying to look good? Impossible to say. She didn't think they'd spoken to Diamondeye about it.

Catharsis's resistance ... well, she'd never claimed to understand the Security Officer. The man was unreadable. rhawn was a little bit more interesting. Talk of pestilence. A poorly motivated accusation against the outpost's medic, followed by an attempt to talk down the accusations and discredit one of the accusers on purely formal grounds.**

The 1st Corporal shakes her head as she walks. She's never been very by-the-book, and rhawn should know that. He bears watching.

And TheLastOne. Ah yes, that one.

The reason why I didn't get a chance to is because I had a 2 hour blackout! (Screw you chavez!)

The Heavygunner absorbs the new information...

The 1st Corporal's wanderings have brought her to within steps of the Heavy Gunner. She speaks to him quietly, but it carries.

You're trying too hard, TheLastOne. You were going to accuse Autolycus, and you missed your chance. Now that's a shame, but it hardly required a speech to say so. You'd almost have thought you were the lone holdout in the entire outpost, and you needed to explain yourself or die trying. But it wasn't like that. Eight accusations only.

And at that, you thought we might rather toss him in the brig? I could almost believe that one little thing was the point of the entire exercise, no?

The 1st Corporal leaves the words hanging in the air as she walks away.

* OOC: We were all on MSN at about that time, and I can only assume that Diamondeye made the same accusation and request to the rest of them as he did to me.

The Security Officer throws a roll of duct tape at the 1st Corporal's head, spoiling her dramatic exit. He then runs away and hides in a metal crate, hoping that The Lemon will not spot him.

Well it would spoil my day a bit. Today I am intending to play Football manager (and I am actually doing so right now) and argueing with people on the internet about why I should not be lynched would spoil my game.

Renata, you honestly expected me to believe you guys at the time, when that the bandwagon against autolycus that materialized so suddenly and so late in the day, that it was founded on solid intel? At the time I made a good judgement, that was the right time to make an accusation like that.

Today is a new day, don't be petty and hold a grudge. You guys caught a Silent Ash member, whether they be some sort of traitor or otherwise, good job. Maybe Commander Frozen will award you a medal, oh wait, Commander Frozen has conveniently disappeared. Possibly if you please ex-commander like you have been PFC Diamondeye, he'd give you one, I'd not get too close to that one though, even for the small honor of new lapel jewelery.

So is all this some way to get me to vote for TheLastOne36? I've already told Diamondeye what I need to be useful, until then, I'm just a bitter man stationed atop a cold tower.

You should stop being envious of the fact that I am the only man in the barracks. I have to guard all day, and then when I get back off shift I'm forced to work for the women all night as well. You wanna live with 4 other crazy *&^&%es with guns who can't aim? I doubt it, if you're fantasizing about something else
