It's very simple. The burden of proof is on the one making the extraordinary claims. What you normally do is copy sections of articles that do a very poor job of showing your point, from a source that's pretty well discredited. Nobody around here finds that convincing of anything. So we're just going around in circles until you come up with something new.

So instead of one gang lording it up in relatively benign corruption and neglect, you'd prefer it if a whole bunch of thugs were to start a turf war?

...I'm sorry, but other than your completely understandable distaste for the Haitian state and a less rational distaste for centralized government, how would that make things any better for the Haitians?
