nvm

You never responded to my question, I see.

Why when it is certain that my imperfect explanations will be used to "debunk" Austrian Economics and a volley of strawman attacks will rain in. It isjust disgusting to have to go through all that, ill rather let the masters explain themselves and if you dont want to listen, so be it.

I am not talking about debunking Austrian Economics, good sir; I have no need or desire to. I am merely asking you to explain what they are so I can understand them a bit from a fellow poster. Give me the tldr version, please.

So how am i misinterpreting it or what are the open interpretations possible?

It's very simple. The burden of proof is on the one making the extraordinary claims. What you normally do is copy sections of articles that do a very poor job of showing your point, from a source that's pretty well discredited. Nobody around here finds that convincing of anything. So we're just going around in circles until you come up with something new.

I do have to wonder whether a Somalia-type situation would not be good for Haiti considering its past experiences with governments, those both supported and opposed by the United States... at least in a state of anarchy, you'd have competing gangs of gun-toting thugs rather than just the ones the government has.

You'd have chaotic decentralized autocracies versus a stable centralized one. I'll take order, thanks.

So instead of one gang lording it up in relatively benign corruption and neglect, you'd prefer it if a whole bunch of thugs were to start a turf war?

...I'm sorry, but other than your completely understandable distaste for the Haitian state and a less rational distaste for centralized government, how would that make things any better for the Haitians?
