i have the regular edition oblivion for ps3 and i seem to have all of the knights of the nine stuff. I thought all of it was normal untill I was reading stuff on the oblivion wiki and it said " knights of the nine official plugin required". how is this possibe??

Ok well thats good i guess.:)

Just wondering, how do you activate the knights of nine quests?

I beat the regular campaign and got the free armor suit, but there were no leads to where to find the islands to travel to.

Knights of the nine starts at the Anvil Chapel I believe

You have to talk to the guy ranting near the chapel and follow the directions on the map he gives you.

Sounds like you're thinking of the Shivering Isles expansion. IIRC it appears as a new
quest - you find a gate that takes you to the Isles.

Yeah what I didn't realize is that the second disk of the GOTY edition has the setup files for the DLC.

I played through Shivering Isles already. It was quite awesome though doing it before the main campaign makes the main storyline anti-climatic. Shouldn't the new Sheogorath be able to attack a Daedra prince more directly than finding the cult's location, etc.. etc..?

KoN seems to have a bug if you don't patch it though. Two of the shrines have identical names (dedicated to the same god) so you can never trigger the quest even if you visit all nine shrines.

Each of the nine has 3 shrines, except Akatosh and Julianos(?) who have 4, IIRC.
