Old About Avatar's and How to get one!

I book marked this site some time ago and since this is post 300 it is time to lose my covered wagon. Could one of y'all please make me avaitars from these. The first is the Flag of the Republic of Texas for most of its existence. The second is a painting of a Texas regiment at the battte of Antietam. Just zoomed in on the Lone Star flag would be nice. Thanks!

Thanks for the help. I would prefer the first to be shaped more like a flag with a smaller gold star. The second looks good but if it does not distorte the image, can it be bigger?

The word "Stratego" would still be proportional to the globe. So in this picture the word would be pretty small, but hopefully you can still make it readable.

Wow, this thread has exploded since the last time I visited. Could someone make me a cool flag starting from this base image (it needs to be the same exact size):
And if you could incorrporate this into the bottom left corner without the blue backround, just the stars please.
Mess around with it. I don't need the stars to be on it, just the original crown, you can change the colors however you like just keep the crown in it's orriginal position. Thanks.

Raijer resized the blue and yellow flag so I'll leave that. I went ahead and made the other 65x65 rather than keeping the proportions like I did the first time. As well...I hope you don't mind but I did a couple more that I kinda liked (civil war soldier with lonestar flag, and texas flag within the state "borders")

If I add the eye in there you won't be able to see much of it (for some reason I can not find the larger version of your current avatar
) I'll keep playing with it though and see what I can come up with 
edit (after adding second image): adding lettering to it seems to be the challenge of the moment

I am assuming that this is not for an avatar since you want the original size? (just making sure

No Shield in front of it it's cooler, I think.
Could just someone withdraw the base in metal and enlarge the golden parts. With the base out, the circles may be bigger and so it is "easy" to enlarge that golden circles, make them bigger and "closer"
Till that is done, I'll use the best till date.

ummm okay, thought you wanted the red in the center of the stars....here it is without....Will be working on it again later tonight

No I like the red. It's just that I can still see the box around the stars, I was just wondering if you could like cut out the stars or something so that you can't see the black box like in the above flag.
