Oh, I thought 65x65 was the limit... erm...

Here's the badge cut out. I splashed some pixels in a new image, resized this and dropped it on. Then applied unsharp mask (and similar) to bring out the detail and such like.

I can reproduce whichever in any size, but need some guidance/limitations or I'll be posting images all day

If you could do me a 70x70 (4Kb) and 100x100 (10Kb) of the patriotic one that would be great! I'll definitely use those!

Ok, I had some trouble. The union jack I used was only about 100x100 to start with, and that made getting rid of artifacts too tricky for me.

A big distractive lens flare seems to help cover the flaws..

I cannot reduce it to 4Kb/10Kb. My image editor is a bit pooey, which is kind of ironic given the number of images I make, and not just on this site, some icons for GNU projects are also oversized ( + )

There shouldn't be any problem, they just need a better PNG compression ratio.

Could someone make me an avatar with a W and a J in it? That's it, just a W and a J. No shield or anything. Make it simple, but not too simple. With a transparent background, please. Everything else is up to the creator. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Actually, never mind about that. What I'm more interested in is if someone could redraw the Civ2 diplomat unit. Take a look at this post. Raijer was able to do a great job of redrawing (that is, going into an image editing program, starting from scratch, and creating an image that looks like the original image but better) the pimp smilie; he came up with this:

I'd be very grateful if someone could do the same with the diplomat. Or alternatively, make the diplomat look sharper/better by editing it instead of redrawing it (although I doubt that's possible).

Edit2: Also, while you're at it, you might as well make the diplomat as large as possible (since the maximum size has been increased to 70x70).

could somebody make my current avatar with a translucent background and maybe a bit "cleaner". It looks all choppy with those colors. If you have time, I'd like to see maybe a 3d effect, too.

I'm not as good with "cleaning up" images as Raijer. And speaking of Raijer...where the heck did he go?!?!?!?! Miss him in here!!
