Highlighted Changes:
  • It is now possible to play the Barbarian Horde Scenario with any Map Script (Raiders will cross water)
  • Added “New Map” setting: starts a new game with current settings
  • Adjusted “Restart Game” setting: Replay this game from the beginning
  • Minimum Setting added to terrain graphics option
  • 28 New events added

Relationships tab now shows religion for family heads

Woohoo! Thanks, Old World team.

It looks like the text size on tooltips got smaller with the update. Is there a way to adjust? I played around with "Tooltip scale" under accessibility, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

The UI performance improvements are CRAZY!!!!! Awesome work guys!!!!!!

The overlays are so much faster to display! Although they don't seem to be cached anymore?
 
Yeah it seems the biggest changes are not in the change list. I will see if I can get used to the smaller tooltip fonts but it seems I can use SHIFT again on the tooltips and that is the main feature of this patch which makes the game much more playable so good job!
I also see that it takes a little longer to build up yields from improvements but it is now much faster to scroll so I think that is better also.

For me they were extremely slow the first time (like when pressing M) but then it was fine. Now it's acceptable the first time, but it seems to always recalculate everything, even the whole map? Maybe there could be some priorisation to the tooltip tiles that are rendered so that the currently selected tile appears first if you have a worker for example. Also if you move from an improvement to another the new tooltips can slowly replace the old ones and for a couple of seconds it can be a bit confusing but I'm already used to it (I think).
I guess that's mainly my low-spec machine in fault anyway.
