There should be a option like "Permanent Peace" for like 20 (maybe more) turns or so that none of the 2 sides can declare war on each other, and it can be renewed when it expires...

It'd be neat if there was a way to make "permanent" alliances into temporary alliances, where its set out for a certain number of turns.

That way, a bunch of minor civs could join an alliance for 100 turns lets say, and then act as a unit.

I like this idea. I dont like being bound forever, but it'd be nice to get some "protection" for maybe a hundred years. Afterwords, I might be the one who wants to go rampaging.
