A motion is making its way through the senate to send a scientific expedition to investigate in the near future, though it is not an immediate priority. If we do indeed find a rift of some kind, it is unclear how me might go about closing it.... However, the Roman Empire will certainly do our part to defend our world from any temporal menace.

With the geography over there, I dont think you have much to worry about from the Siam-Songhai.

We Songhai live in huts and tents and do not know about this manufacturing you speak of. We hunt animals and hide in our mosques. We also do not understand what you mean by surpassing Egypt in the wonder race as both our peoples have built 2 marvels. The Romans have built one but as they have long claimed, they are the leaders in technology in our world and have lorded over the rest of us not so smart peoples.
