Our scientific team was given free reign to address the issue of the time vortex as they saw fit. Destroying the automatons and occupying the Indian cities to continue our investigations was deemed the most appropriate action. They have the full support of the Roman senate, and the Emperor as well.

We Songhai congratulate the Egyptians on the start of your Golden Age of prosperity. We knew we could not long keep the mantle of most technologically advanced civilization in the world, and our long slow decline is only accelerating. Soon we will need to build armies just to defend ourselves from all the bloodthirsty tyrants near our lands and the march of elephants, longswords, pikemen and crossbows by those covetous of our fine mosques and centers of learning.

While the Egyptians are building observatories in their fertile river valleys, we will be fighting for our very existence.

Obviously he got some help to raise this large army. From other friendly civs, but also from the easy and soft Indian cities. Those are helping the Romans will face him sooner or later. But i made a mistake by going for civil service before machinery. Result : Still waiting for that tech :(

The real battle will be between Egypt and Romans. Rome is mastering the real diplo window in this game. Monty is too arrogant :lol:

I will slowly die in next weeks :)

Actually, this army is entirely home grown and financed, with our own resources. It's nice to have the upper hand with you, for once!

Aztec used invalid assumption here. Egypt got machinery long before and was 2 turns away from Chivarlry. Soon the military power will grow to the second place. However Egypt will only use that army to deter any invasion instead of full scale assault on another civ. If Romans are willing to trade some incense after 20 turns, Egypt will stay peaceful and happy for the longest time if Romans want.

Aztec has Great Wall for protection, so your main cities will be fine. Dublin (correct?) could be lost, but again that's righteous liberation unless Roman decides to annex that.

His border growth isnt that great. I dont think the Great Wall will help him much. Forest blocking line of sight might save him. Russia has decided to go into neutral mode. I have a lot of trips planned for the next couple months and will use the turn timer. Hopefully the AI wont see my defensive army and decide to go bonkers. I wanted my city back Tab but just couldnt afford to upgrade everything. :(

Celebrations are stirring in Dublin, beneath the heel of the Aztec overlords. Roman knights pursue the last Aztec troops, in full rout for the safety of their Wall. :lol:

Egypt Empire is struggling to get happiness, let along puppet any foreign city. A few more happiness buildings are urgent than military right now. We don't think Roman general will proceed to the forest.
