Onan's Speed-Optimized GMR Game

Ramsay has the latest update from his scientists and geologists that: the world coal reserves are very even. Russia will get their coal once the last Aztec city is formally put into their map. Roman will probably need to settle another fringe city to get enough supply if Dublin is flipped into other civ. With the new discovery, the public support of Ramsy has increased. For his wise decision to expand his empire has secured the only supply of coal from the newly conquered territory, while still maintain peace with the powerful neighbours.

The Aztecs are no more. The Russians went from the happiest people to the unhappiest within 3 turns. Damn you Ceasar, your fort on that hill has stopped my plans of world conquest.

If Ramsy knew that Catherine is on holiday vocation, he will not subsidize the lux trade, as the AI will take it anyway

Heh, if that's all it took, your plans sounded very hopeful. ;)

Been pretty quiet on the Great Plains lately. Pax, what is it good for? :p

Btw Caesar welcomes Rome's new neighbours in the former Aztec homelands. May we serve as a model of multiculturalism and charity for our subjugated peoples.

Yeah I counter-offered with a normal trade. Not sure why you offered that, I should of just hit accept.

You practicing your Great Plains game, Tab? (the links came through in my email notification.)

I discovered that if i upload a cloud(steam) image to photobucket it does show better quality than if i take a picture from my usual software. I still get standard view for the site(not ultra huge pics where you need to scroll back and forth) so it does auto shrink(settings changed from photobucket to adjust with civfanatics site). It was an old picture from a sp vanilla game.

Tests have been successful :goodjob:

Thought Catherine might want to challenge Ceasar or Pharoah just provides some trust fund to prevent Russia from getting bribed to DoW Egpyt.

That would be an incredible bribe. March my armies across the map and leave my lands unprotected? Not that they could stand-up to any of the superpowers. I can see this three way standstill wont last too long with this craziness.

No kidding. Although Roman roads do lead from Tenochtitlan all the way to Egypt... :p

Can't we all just get along?

Great Ceasar, Pharoah proposes 8 gpt subsidy to sign research agreement with your people, which should be more than enough to cover the entire cost of project. Given the old RA system, the outcome is not tied to bpt, so some careful tech choice and still reward substantially to either side. Plus that may add another layer of trust. Sorry we can't do lump sum subsidy as we did to the Russian friends.

It's Caesar!! I know it doesn't look right, but it is! :aargh::wallbash::please:

Okay, phew, I just had to get that out of my system. :)

The Senate has voted against Pharaoh's proposal, as many have pointed out we are well behind Egyptian technology, and although we would advance from the deal, Egypt would advance further still, thus widening the technological gap between us. Not to mention that tower thingy which you may or may not have built.

We are happy to accept research agreements with other nations, and would have offered one already, if not for another trade agreement which needed to be renewed.

Alright, Caesar. It looks like the Egyptian literacy rate was not that high at all

The Egyptians are on average 7 to 10% higher in literacy than the rest of the world and have provided a public education to all their monument building slaves, thus only enhancing their technological lead. We Songhai can only hope that our mosques and temples will keep our scientists from defecting to the Egyptian observatory dwellers.

The percentage difference can also be interpreted as such: Songhai is not that far behind in tech, maybe 3% ;)

Don't forget hammer, gold and land. Songhai is No.1 in all these categories. And Songhai capital is catching up population quickly. With all those gold pile, mass upgrade and surprise attack can be deadly even to the tech leader. Speaking of which, Dynamite may soon be unlocked by the Songhai?

The Songhai are currently at 45% compared to 50% for the Egyptians and we have just started research on our next technology. The Egyptians are likely 60 to 70 beakers ahead per turn at the moment. Dynamite is needed for defensive purposes so Songhai scientists are feverishly working on understanding those secrets.

Your Taj Majal golden age skewed all the demographics.
