Question: What is the relation of this storyline to the storyline of the new comic?

I'm just looking forward to the new story.

The new comic will not be a sequel or continuation of this one. It's more of a spin-off. It won't have a continuous plot, although there will be recurring (some familiar) characters, a vaguely defined setting, and some story arcs. OMT is about all of Civilization, so there will be elements from each of the games, even the gaming culture and CFC itself. You could think of it as a meta-comic.

Glad I saw this on what may have been the last bump. Somehow it eluded me for a whole month! OMTT remains one of my favorite Civ stories all time, even if it did only have 47 episodes, and I'm looking forward to reading its spin-off. The fifth of November certainly makes for an easy-to-remember starting date, as well, although the "tomorrow" would have been perfectly good enough at this stage .
