One thing that I hope they get right this time...

Yes, I really hope victory videos are back. Whether unique to each Civ or each Victory type (or both? ha I ask too much).

I remember the ending to my first Civ V game felt rather shallow as you're given a popup with a quote that is shorter than most of the Tech quotes. I mean winning a 10 hour game should feel more important than discovering Pottery shouldn't it?

I agree. The end definitely can be a letdown. Although I don't actually complete most of my Civ V games — I'll often get bored somewhere around the Industrial Age, quitting once my victory is assured — when I do go all the way, it would be nice to feel that the "big finish" was worth all that extra time and effort.

One of the reasons I liked to finish games in civ I and IV was the replay at the end of the game. I don't care for a video, I always skip it, but the replay at the end is awesome. It's something you can show to others and boast. Absolutely invaluable.

Yes, the replay was the ultimate prize. I always loved watching the world develop over time and evolving as civs expanded, conquered and developed. Hopefully, they'll have different lenses to view in the replay. Political (standard), religion...

I just wish they have AI city governors a la Endless Legend/Endless Space. Also they can borrow the city administration screen from those games too.

I know that they no longer have a separate city screen. I think that they still have a governor, but not sure how deep it will be.

If you mean an AI that will automate the city, then no there won't be. If you mean something else, then probably not that either. The city will auto assign citizens to work tiles though. Pretty similar to CiV in regards to city management.
