Oracle wonder movie Oracle.bik corrupted?

Hi,

I noticed that my game crashes when I build the Oracle. Now I tried to view the Oracle.bik movie with the free stand-alone Bink-player from www.radgametools.com and this player cannot play the movie as well (only the first second, then it stops!)

So does Civ4 ship with a corrupted file? I remember mentioning problems with the Oracle wonder here before. This can explain all the reports of crashes with wonder movies, because the Oracle is one of the first wonders available, so people will notice this soon.

Someone can confirm this? (by also trying this)

EDIT: Also the great library video ends prematurely and the parthenon video has some visual artefacts. /EDIT

All of the wonder movies I have seen, including all three of the ones you've listed, have worked fine for me. It could be the file is corrupted on your computer or your computer may just be having problems with the movies.

Thanks. I reinstalled Civ 4 and now the movies are working. I don't get it. Why were my game files corrupted?? Anyway, I hope my crashes are gone now
