“I’m looking for a girl.”

That’s how it always starts. Many men laugh, others nod in agreement. A few have tried to sell me one, but that is not what I mean. I am looking for a particular girl. I … don’t know why. I remember being told that I must find her, and that she is dangerous, more to others then myself. I know she has matted red hair and a white dress. I don’t know what I will do with her when I find her, if she’ll get the crossbow or the flask, but I know that I cannot rest until she does.

My name is Arthendain, and I’m looking for a girl.

I say you get the hell out of this thread and save your comments for those interested in your opinion.

EDIT: Will any moderators that come past please have a look at this post by luckymoose. Wow, he's come far hasn't he.

Tell you what: you're welcome to make another one that I can then not use.

I like MS Paint. It's easy, it looks suitably low-effort, and it's plenty pretty enough for my purposes.

Why the hell are you FFH guys a bunch of dicks? You won't accept criticism from REAL NESers, hell I would have even made the map usable for you. At current it's a JPEG and won't be useful, you don't even have the borders filled in. It looks like a little kid made it. Be presentable, take criticism and stop being so full of yourselves.

From my experience, I'd definitely recommend a program that can use layers, and transparency. You can use layers for all kinds of cool stuff, and you may even *need* layers from time to time. I use photoshop, but there are many free programs as well. But no stress, if you see problem as you go, just switch.

Never thought about layers for maps.... that's an awesome idea...... :opening Photoshop: :)

Holy... I don't have time to write the darn background story!!! I will by Saturday and if Oghma be with me, by Friday

Story at some time tomorrow.

Definitely. I'd recommend photoshop but if don't have it you can just download GIMP for free which is almost as good. There's a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it it's easy to use.

You know what? I have to write 2 frigging poems. TWO poems by tommorrow which also coincide with a major spanish test, a frigging afterschool I have to go to, and a a major paper research so I guess you can understand my feelings. I usually write my creative story in 15-45 minutes though...

First of all, Seon, you don't have to be concerned by it at all for some nine days yet. Second, poems?

It'sa school work, my english teachers are hardcore ya see :p

Huh. I guess people really care about how pretty the map looks. Me, personally, I'm fine with Paint - but if someone goes through the effort of upgrading, that whatever, I'll take it.

That was fast, Iggy. What did you use? Where can I steal it? Are the lines removeable?
