Order on hold

Alas, I've made my order for PTW at EBgames a couple of days ago.

When checking my order before the release it stated something like "waiting for release" and after the release it just says "on hold"

I live in Sweden, and have heard that Amazon does not ship outside US. Didn’t hear the same thing about EBgames though.

Anybody have any clue?

There is two things that I know of that can trigger this (both happened to me):

1. Your shipping address is different from your billing address

2. You are paying with a European credit card

In both cases the order is checked more thoroughly than normal. In the second instance they told me that it takes them up to 5 days to check a European card.

I cancelled the order and ordered from Amazon UK, so I'll have to wait till the end of the month

That seems like a reasonable enough explanation. I am certainly paying with a European Credit Card so that’s probably it. I will try and hold out for some time longer, I have also contacted Ebgames via email, and awaiting their response.

I just checked my Fedex Tracking # and mine should be here in an hour or two. It's been a long weekend.

perhaps they are "holding" it til the game is released in Europe? IE. you they will not ship to Europe before Infogrames wants it released?

To inform you all. I can let you know that my order is in progress. Like aliatar said, it was just a little more complicated when ordering with a European Credit card for payment.

Now it's on its way, and I accpect to be playing PTW this weekend
