If we're doing this I think it may be helpful to work in mini teams. I'd like to see all our players get a feel for pbem especially those that will be turnplayers.

I thought you meant you'd be my partner somehow. I know zero about PBEM and I'm a rather weak player anyway.

That's what my intent was. We would spoiler our decisions so you could get a sense of how things work. The more informed we are on how volatile human vs. human games can be, the better. IE Tubby, Rik, Mistfit and Grahamiam know not to mess with Whomp's samuarais so....

I would like to play in a 3-man game. Those of you who are even remotely interested in being a turn-player, I would highly recommend a PBEM with 2-3 others so that you can understand the differences. I'd rather you get messed up in a private PBEM than in the big game getting ready to start.

I'll post spoilers of my actions and my (anti-)reasoning of why I do things. You can be the judge if I'm smart or not.

How about we ask for a sub-sub forum for the cage matches, so that we can fully spoil each other inside our own house? Otherwise we can always put it on display in the main board too I guess.

I like both ideas of a 3-men AW and a 5-men diplo with the civs at hand. Maybe we can do both? I'd be more interested in the 3-way myself. I can design the 5-players map during my christmas break, ie in time for christmas, and I trust we could find a friendly hand helping out the 3-way.

I do think turnplayers should get in either one, preferrably the 5 players MTDG2-civs matchup.
