I don't know if I'd say that - Kinboat's dragons are very nicely done and beautifully animated. I think Orthanc's unit looks more imaginative. But a Chinese dragon is so wildly different from a western one that they aren't really comparable anyway.

I'm not sure if you've stuck with the "spiky hair in the head" (uh... looks like it's just woken up with a terrible hangover or something...)
Have you thought of using blobs as the "individual hair curls"? That's what I've done when trying to make hairy things. And so far they have worked so-and-so.

But anyways, that dragon is looking awesome . Is this the first living thing you've done?
... damn, what do I need to do to beat that...?

It could work for an anime dragon; just about everything in anime has somewhat "spiky" hair.

Well, it's true that I was asking Orthanc primarily, but if SoG would take up requests as well, I wouldn't mind him making the unit (or possible units) I need. I've seen both Orthanc and SoG's units, and both make quality stuff. So how about it SoG?

As I said in my lat post, these last few days I was away painting my brother's house. Back now and rendering AttackB.

I realize I've addded a few things to the to-do list, but it's gotten quite lengthy once more (not that it had shrunk all that much), anyways HunterAnubis you've already got the Gardens from FF8 on there for you and those are no small feat, so try and hold off for a bit everyone.

Anywho, though I mostly do boats, I do take human and organic (or simply bipedal) requests.

@aaglo: Plenty of your organic units still impress me, I'm sure you can pull off another one if you want to compete with this in the monthly competitions. Kinda late to change the hairs now, I did round them off a little, but yes blob or sphere sweep would work for curly hairs, I was saving render time by using cones. Maybe a 512MB (or better) video card would remedy this concern

Well, I wouldn't want to bother you now if your to-do list is full. I would appreciate a PM, if you could, for when you have some time and feel like taking on some unit requests. I need some units made for my scenario, and would love to feature some of your units. But don't worry about it if your schedule is filled.
